Consultation for Senior Mindfulness Integration

Enhance your practice and empower your clients with effective mindfulness techniques.

We understand the unique challenges faced by doctors, physical therapists, pain specialists, senior care specialists, medical practices, and mental health providers in delivering comprehensive care to seniors.

Mindfulness offers a complementary approach to traditional therapeutic approaches that is well documented in academic circles (see our Professional Resources page outlining relevant mindfulness research and articles).

Mindfulness for Seniors focuses on a senior-specific, flexible, adaptable, and accessible approach that is easy to deliver to the seniors in your care.

Our consultation, once your needs have been established, provides practical guidelines, suggestions, strategies, and guidance on how you can add a supplemental mindfulness approach as part of your clients’ care. We will provide guidance for both clinical or other professional settings, as well as at-home or everyday use strategies for your clients or patients.

The Author’s Personal Mindfulness Journey:

Like many, I’ve faced life’s challenges. A serious motor vehicle accident at 30, a head-on collision with a drunk driver, dramatically reshaped my life. The aftermath was a whirlwind of physical and emotional challenges, including significant injuries and cognitive deficits. This experience became a catalyst for personal growth, forcing me to confront limitations and seek new ways of coping. It was during this time that I renewed and expanded my efforts with mindfulness as a way to help me manage my new life situation. Mindfulness became a way to re-embody myself, find peace amidst chaos, and navigate physical and emotional pain. Now, as a fellow senior, this journey informs my approach to senior mindfulness, offering a unique perspective on resilience, healing, and savoring life.

Whether you’re looking to support seniors with pain management, emotional regulation, or cognitive support, our consultation can help. Together we can discover and tailor solutions to support your vision and the needs of your senior clients through practical, flexible, and accessible life tools.
